North and longitude 320 East, for which reason it has often been described as the
“Airport on the Equator”

This is to clarify that the reminder message restricting photography and filming relates ONLY to
operational restricted/sensitive areas within the terminal building (such as security screening
areas and equipment, among other sensitive areas). This is not a new measure. Filming has
always been restricted, and only takes place with prior permission
PARKING
Entry to EIA’s car parking is automated, making parking at the Airport a smoother experience.
At the entrance, drivers are urged to slow down, stop at the ticket dispensing machine, press a
button and wait for a parking ticket ,takes about 10 seconds for the ticket to be dispensed),
pick the ticket and slowly approach the barrier. It is necessary to keep the ticket safely as it is
required on exiting the airport

Step 1: Dial *227# (Airtel and MTN)
Step 2: Select Airport Parking
Step 3: Enter Number Plate or Ticket Number
Step 4: Make full payment
Step 5: Exit within 30 minutes
Step 6: Insert ticket at exit for Barrier to open
