“Humanity can no longer stand by in silence while our wildlife are being used, abused and
exploited. It is time we all stand together, to be the voice of the voiceless before it's too late.
Extinction means forever.” - Paul Oxton

DEAR READERS, ADVERTISERS & CONTRIBUTORS
A warm welcome,
This is our Oct-Dec 2018 E-Magazine!
It is with a heavy heart that I write to inform you all that after 18 continuous years of publication, The Eye Magazine
will no longer be available in print format. The magazine will from now on exist solely online, in an E-magazine format
The magazine can no longer survive in its current, printed paper format, due to a serious decline in advertising
revenue and the ever-increasing costs of printing.
On a positive note, the magazine content continues to move onwards and upwards, providing a great source of
local information to existing and new readers.
So, this issue (October-December 2018) and all subsequent ones will be in digital format only. The Eye Magazine will
continue to be published every quarter (four issues per year) and it will continue to provide readers and advertisers
with a wide range of useful information and features about Uganda.
I would like to take this opportunity to offer a heartfelt thank you to all those loyal businesses and establishments who
have supported the magazine in print for many years and I look forward to continuing to work with you as we now
move into the digital age of advertising.
Here’s to the next 18 years.
