HAPPY HAPPY 2024
Welcome to a new issue and a new year!
I started this year off with big goals and big plans in mind and I am going to OUT WITH THE OLD,
try to achieve as many of them as I can. One of my big plans is to visit as
many safari lodges as I can -- at least the ones I haven’t been fortunate to IN WITH THE NEW
visit in Uganda... and I plan to start with the ones mentioned in this issue of the
magazine.

have travelled to most (mountainous) corners of the country, either
professionally as a hiking guide, travel writer and trainer, or climbing
mountains and mountain biking purely for pleasure. There’s still a lot to
