After graduating Medical School in 2006, Dr Frauke Ines Kawooya began practising Paediatric & Adolescent health in Germany. In 2008 she received her PhD and in 2015 became a Senior Consultant. After almost 20 years of practice in Germany and Uganda, Dr. Frauke has made Kampala her home, establishing Uganda’s only German-run Paediatric Hospital – MFK Orthopedic & Paediatric Hospital, delivering high-quality care to children and adolescents in the region.
