Water Supply in Uganda

Water supply interruptions can occur from time to time due to planned maintenance, repairs, power outages or increased demand. If you experience an unexpected loss of water, fi rst check with your neighbours to determine whether the interruption is affecting your area. You can then report the outage or request updates by contacting the National Water and Sewerage Corporation (NWSC). Where possible, keep a small reserve of clean water for
essential household use during temporary service interruptions.

Report leaks, burst pipes and prolonged outages as soon as possible. Follow NWSC’s social
